    About our Speakers

    Debra Carpenter, PhD brings 30+ years of healthcare IT leadership experience, with deep expertise in applications, governance, cybersecurity, and data analytics. In addition to her role as CIO Advisor for Blue Eagle Consulting, she serves as CIO at TriState Health in Clarkston, WA, leading high-impact digital transformation and IT innovation. Her background spans both large health systems and critical access hospitals.

    Rebecca Tipton joined BMSS in 2022 and currently serves as the manager of BMSS’s outsourced HR Services. With prior experience both managing HR teams, serving as an HR professional, and as an HR Consultant, Rebecca specializes in HR Advisory, where she supports clients with maintaining compliance with employment regulations, managing their HR responsibilities, and fine tuning their people strategy across many industries. Known for her accuracy and dedication to continuous learning, Rebecca is a pro at providing consultation and support on all stages of the employee life cycle.

    Jonathan Perz is the Manager of Information Security at Abacus Technologies, where he leads the security operations, engineers client security solutions, and supports threat detection and remediation efforts. He also plays a key role in developing and implementing the firm’s cybersecurity services. Jonathan brings decades of experience in information technology, with a focus on cybersecurity, small and midsize business environments, and secure solution design.
