Position: Clinic Manager
Location: Denver
Hours: 40 hours per week
Position Purpose: This exempt, full-time position is directly responsible for the comprehensive management of the Denver Clinic; assures clinic is appropriately staffed with knowledgeable employees who focus on teamwork, efficiency and quality patient care and customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Execute professional nursing care, including teaching ability in order to assess, plan and implement patient care for the pediatric and adult population
• Monitors patient flow and adjusts accordingly for staffing needs
• Demonstrates knowledge of management and leadership skills
• Demonstrates understanding of office policies, procedures and guidelines
• Demonstrates accuracy in all details; able to record and report properly
• Actively promotes and participates in organizational committees
• Participates in monthly organizational management meetings
• Communicates with the Physicians on a daily basis regarding needs of the clinic as well as having scheduled, weekly meetings with the Physicians, PAs and Front Desk Manager
• Coordinates staffing issues with the Director, Clinic Operations
• Continues personal and professional growth
• Demonstrates flexibility, professionalism and leadership
• Maintains open communication and a team-oriented work environment with all departments and all levels of personnel
• Provides for staff development; identifies internal/external training needs
• Takes initiative and is a self-starter
• Performs additional duties as deemed necessary
• Maintains OSHA and HIPAA compliance

Prerequisites:
1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
2. Current Colorado License
3. Management experience preferred
4. Experience preferred with both adult and pediatric patients
5. Current CPR certification

Practice Administrator
Stapleton Pediatrics is searching for a Practice Administrator. Ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and pediatric practice management experience.
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for overseeing operations of Stapleton Pediatrics.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to the Physician Owners.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: Supervises staff and oversees the management of all clinic activities and staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Responsible for developing and implementing the clinic's mission and strategic vision.
2. Provides leadership in developing planning and implementing the clinic's business plans to the Physicians.
3. Recommends, develops, implements improvements for the practice.
4. Informs board about current trends, problems and medical activities to facilitate policy making.
5. Establishes, secures approval and overseas clinic operating policies and procedures.
6. Oversees efforts for recruitment, development, performance evaluation of employees.
7. Oversees the business and financial affairs of the practice and fiscal management.
8. Oversees and manages the billing and collection processes/department.
9. Enhances operational effectiveness, emphasizing cost containment without jeopardizing important innovation or quality of care.
10. Ensures clinic compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accrediting bodies. Continually monitors operations, programs, physical properties. Initiates appropriate changes.
11. Encourages community involvement. Responsible for managing the overall marketing activities of the practice.
12. Represents the clinic in its relationships with other health organizations, government agencies, and third party payers.
13. Manages all practice managed care relationships, including monitoring of related reimbursement, negotiation with third party payers, provider credentialing, and maintenance of contracts.
14. Serves as liaison and channel of communication between the hospitals, health plans, insurance companies and regulatory bodies.
15. Resolves any medical-administrative problems and keeps lines of communication open with staff to ensure high employee morale and a professional, healthful clinic atmosphere.
16. Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional development to keep current in the latest health care trends and developments.
17. Maintains strictest confidentiality.
